About Linda Bready

Linda Bready has spent more than two decades inside the machinery of financial services and fintech, as a founder, CEO, operator, board advisor, and fractional executive. She built B-Ready Outsourcing, which ran operational services for advisory firms, financial planners, and investment managers, and was acquired by Envestnet in 2010. She has been on both sides of acquisitions, both sides of growth, and both sides of the org chart.

That history shapes how she works. Most firms Linda meets aren't broken — they're functioning, in ways that quietly stopped fitting some time ago. Nobody decided to make it this complicated; it accumulated, one reasonable decision at a time, until the workarounds became "how things work here" and no one person could see all of it.

Through CleverX, Linda works with firms at the moments when structure, leadership, and direction matter most.
